Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB)
Linear Alkyl benzene (LAB) “The main product” is the most common raw material in the manufacture of biodegradable detergents.
LAB is produced from alkylation reaction between normal olefin extracted from kerosene and benzene extracted from reformate on Detal catalyst.
Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) uses
- Household detergents
– Laundry powders
– Dishwashing Liquids
– Liquid household cleaners
– Agricultural herbicides
– In emulsion Polymerization
– As an emulsifier and wetting agent
linear Alkyl Benzene uses

– In small quantity with other surfactant in toilet soap for foaming
– Slurry making power detergent.
– Soap premix manufacture Liquid detergent.
– LAB was identified as a promising liquid scintillator .
– Manufacture of electric insulators.
Heavy Alkyl Benzene (HAB)
HAB is the main raw material for lubricants, metal surface treatment products, including galvanic and electroplating products and Hydraulic fluids with an annual production capacity equals to 5 KMT.
Heavy Alkyl Benzene (HAB) uses
- Wide variety of applications including thermal fluids.
– Refrigerating oils.
– Textile auxiliaries.
– Lube Industries
– Insulating Oil
– Anti corrosion additives
– Octane number improvement additive.
– Cutting Oil
– Thermal Fluid

– Sulphonated Derivatives as Fuel Oil Additive
– Electrical oils, plasticizers, greases.
– Used to produce lube oil additives.
– Industry-grade chemical lubricant.
– Motor vehicle engine oil ingredients.
– As petroleum product miscible with many industrial liquids, can be used as both a solvent, able to remove other petroleum products.
